A Home Inspection may be defined as an evaluation of the condition of different components of a home with regard to the safety, habitability, desirability and value of the dwelling.  While the inspection may be done either by the homebuyer or by a professional home inspector, an inspector who is certified by a national association and who brings knowledge and experience to the process best completes an objective evaluation.
